4 large whole wheat tortillas

8 oz sliced turkey breast

1 large apple, thinly sliced (Pink Lady or Honeycrisp varieties are recommended for sweetness)

4 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp honey (optional for added sweetness)

1 cup baby spinach leaves, rinsed and dried

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional, for added crunch)

Prepare the Spread: In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, and honey (if using). Mix thoroughly using a spatula or fork until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, adjusting to your taste preference.

    Assemble the Wrap: Lay one tortilla flat on a clean, dry surface like a cutting board. Use a spatula to spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the entire surface of the tortilla, leaving approximately one inch of space along the edges for easy rolling.

      Layer the Ingredients: On top of the cream cheese layer, evenly arrange the sliced turkey breast. Follow with a layer of thin apple slices, ensuring they are well distributed. Add a handful of baby spinach leaves, and if desired, sprinkle the chopped walnuts evenly over the spinach for added texture and flavor.

        Roll the Tortilla: Starting from one end, carefully and tightly roll the tortilla towards the other end, making sure to keep all the fillings secure inside as you go. Aim for a tight roll to help the pinwheels hold their shape.
