2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), diced

1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjustable based on spice preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Drain the pasta, reserving about 1 cup of the starchy pasta water, and set the pasta aside.

    Brown the Sausage: In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and allow it to heat up. Add the Italian sausage to the skillet, using a spatula to break it into small pieces. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes until the sausage is browned and cooked through. If there’s excess grease, drain it carefully.
