4 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

1 cup dark chocolate chips (preferably 70% cocoa or higher for rich flavor)

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for a creamier texture)

Sea salt, for a touch of garnish

1 tablespoon chopped nuts (optional, for added crunch and flavor)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Kiwis: Begin by peeling the kiwis carefully with a knife. Slice each kiwi into approximately 1/2-inch thick rounds. Arrange the kiwi slices in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

    Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil if you're using it. Microwave the mixture on medium heat in 30-second intervals. Stir after each interval until the chocolate is fully melted, smooth, and glossy. Take care not to overheat, as this can burn the chocolate.

      Dip the Kiwi: Using a fork or a skewer, take each kiwi slice and immerse it into the melted chocolate, making sure it is evenly coated. Allow any extra chocolate to drip off before placing the coated kiwi slices back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
