Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Season both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and black pepper.

      - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for approximately 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the breasts are evenly golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

        Cook the Fettuccine:

          - Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, reserve 1/2 cup of the starchy pasta water and then drain the pasta in a colander.

            Make the Alfredo Sauce:

              - In the same skillet used for the chicken, lower the heat to medium and add the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not burnt.

                - Gradually pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently to warm it through. Slowly incorporate the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring continuously until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce becomes creamy. If the sauce is too thick for your liking, stir in a little of the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is achieved.

                  Combine Pasta & Sauce:

                    - Add the drained fettuccine directly to the Alfredo sauce in the skillet. Toss gently to ensure all the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce. Arrange the sliced chicken on top for a beautiful presentation.

                      Prepare the Garlic Bread:

                        - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

                          - In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt (plus red pepper flakes if you prefer some heat).

                            - Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over both cut sides of the bread.

                              - Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden and crispy.

                                Serve:

                                  - Plate your creamy Chicken Alfredo, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness. Serve alongside the hot garlic bread for a complete meal that delights the senses.

Enjoy this classic combination of creamy pasta and buttery, garlicky bread - a dish that promises to satisfy your cravings!
